Beautiful Sunburst finished 1968 Gibson ES-335 TD in great condition. Slightly faded finish but yet vibrant with nice movement on the maple top. The guitar is in mostly original condition – it once had different tuners but the original ones are back on. The bridge saddles are new replacements and the neck pickup wire has been cut and reattached due to a short in the wire. Everything else is correct, all 4 pots date 1967, it has the two black beauty caps, two Phillips baseplate screw T-top patent sticker humbuckers and all the pre late 69 features like a one piece mahogany neck with no volute and 60s logo with i-dot. The typcial 68 Gibson logo can still be seen on the pickguard – this and the witch hat knobs are the only difference to a 66 model. Really nice guitar! Comes in an early 70s ES case.
