1967 Gibson Melody Maker II
Blue (Refin)
Art.Nr. GI66MMPBL-001493
Thats a super cool one: SG shaped 1967 Melody Maker refinished in something that could look like Kalamazoo Blue. The finish looks really convincing, almost like its been done in the 60s which is very likely. Its kind of a turquoise/blue with heavily yellowed clear coat. The finish is definitely old and has been done like its been done in the factory. We’re not able to tell the color, it looks like kalamazoo Blue with clear coat. However, the shielding plate in the cavity is missing and the pickups have been reconnected so there has been work done for sure. In the cavity it looks like it was Pelham Blue from the factory. The guitar has a factory stinger which is really cool – great axe with super nice big neck and original parts.
