This guitar is one of the coolest looking and best sounding 60s ES models we’ve had in the shop! It has a nice short-term history, it’s been “Guitar of the day” at Norms Rare Guitars – there is a nice video on YouTube with Mark Agnesi, and it’s been owned by Benny Yurco of Ryan Adams (there is also a great video of him playing it at the Jimmy Fallon show). It’s been modified to make it actually usable and working as a mono 335 model: the complete electronics has been changed (of course except that magical sounding pickups!) so the original pots with the Varitone come in the case. The pickup magnet has been swapped to avoid the out-of-phase tone as well. If you are looking for a rare custom color 60s ES model that has a nice background and sounds just amazing…here you go!
