Nice and clean 1966 Gibson SG Junior. One of the first batwing guard SGs! Still the one piece neck, no volute. Also still the deeper and more pronounced body shqpe that changed slightly in the late 60s. The guitar has original electronics and an original P-90. The tuners are typical for 66/67—Gibson used this style of tuners in that period. chunky neck! On the bass side of the neck joint, it appears the glue line has been touched up/re-glued, and there has been some localized overspray. Not unusual. The pickguard holes for the stop tailpiece studs were slightly filed out to make everything fit. The tremolo is no longer present, but these guitars generally sound much better with a wraparound and are far more stable in tuning. Great sounding example of a true classic in the vintage guitar world! Comes in new case.
