1965 Fender Stratocaster
Olympic White
Art.Nr. FE65STRATOWT-L58250
1965 Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White finish in excellent condition. We purchased this guitar from the original owner in Germany who purchased it new in the 60s and played it her whole career as a professional musician. She even showed it to Leo Fender during a visit in US back in the 70s! Now it’s time to pass it to a new owner. The guitar still has a 1964 neck and first week 1965 pots, the grey bottom pickups are dated to January 1965. It has untouched solder joints and a beautifully aged and yellowed Olympic White finish. The neck has been oversprayed with a thin layer of clear coat – possibly during a refret and there is a hole from a second string tree. We’re excited to offer this guitar with a great history, especially since there are not many custom color pre-CBS models that came to Germany back then and have a well documented history. Guitar comes incl. original case.
