Very nice 1965 Fender Precision Bass in original Sunburst with an excellent 3.8 kg weight. The bass retains its original tortoise pickguard, hardware, electronics and black Tolex Fender case, with a September 1965 neck date and correct mid-60s pot and pickup configuration (typical mix of grey and black bobbins in that transitional period). There is one small old hole in the headstock, which is the main collector-related issue and is reflected in the condition assessment. Apart from that, this is a very attractive L-series Precision with the classic pre-CBS / transition-era look. A lightweight vintage P-Bass with great proportions and a very honest overall appearance. Comes in later 60s case with tail logo.
