Nice 1963 Gibson ES-335 in beautiful Cherry finish. The guitar originally had a Bigsby but was converted to Stoptail. It The stop tail has been moved at some point and the old thread holes have been professionally plugged. There was a Nashville bridge installed but the original ABR-1 is back on. The tuners are a little later double-line double-rings and the neck has an old overspray that already blacklights well. Besides that the guitar is original with two great sounding Patent Sticker humbuckers that measure 7,85K(N) and 7,53K(B). The pots are dated 134.63.06 (6th week of 1963) and the weight is 3,75Kg. The neck has a nice round profile, not as skinny as earlier 60s models – it’s been refretted not long ago which makes it play even better. Great guitar with the right look and tone. Comes incl. ca 1970 Gibson case with purple interior.
