This is a wonderful sounding and playing “golden era” Gibson ES with dual P90 pickups – and its very affordable! The guitar has original finish, pickups, pickguard, knobs, tuners and tailpiece. It has a nice action, plays great and works well. Its went through a few changes – this is not what we usually have on sale but its a really good instrument that beats any newer version in a second so its a great chance for the player to get a wide nut width Brazilian board ES for a price less than a Custom Shop guitar. It appears that there has been an incident that caused a bit of damage – there is an older heel repair, the neck has been out and was fitted back in correct angle. There is a touch up on the headstock. There is a repaired crack on the G/B tuners. There have been different tuners installed but the originals are back on. The wooden bridge has been upgraded with a mid/late 60s Chrome patent number bridge – a common mod. It has a newer trussrod cover. The pots are DiMarzios, the pickup adjustment screws are not original. All things that have no negative effect on the guitar as an instrument itself. The neck is the typical slim taper of that period. Comes in new hardcase.
