Beautiful 1962 Fender Jazz Bass in original Sunburst, complete with its original case. The bass shows only moderate play wear, actually a very very clean example but has a disclosed cosmetic repair on the front: a small but deeper ding that was filled with epoxy – great repair job. The body date is 11/62 in the neck pocket, the neck dates to October 1962, the pots are dated 1962 too. Both pickups are original black-bottom pickups with original solder. This came out right after the famous “stack knob” basses, a very desirable early-60s curve board Jazz Bass. A proper pre-CBS Jazz Bass with the right parts, a clean look and wonderful tone! Comes in its original brown tolex case, ashtray, pickup cover, original strap, cable and string dampeners.
