1961 Gibson Les Paul SG Custom - White

1961 was the first year for the "Les Paul" with the new body shape, which has been renamed to SG Custom in 1963. This guitar is in great condition and all original besides two of the three PAF humbuckers (neck and middle) have been professionally rewound by Kloppmann Electrics in Germany, the trussrod cover is a newer replacement and some screws (pickup mounting and vibrato) have been changed as well. The original white finish shows some dings and average play wear, the gold-plating of the metal-parts has worn off over the years as on most guitars of that age. Incl. original Gibson "Brown Case" (only used for the very first SG/Les Paul models).
