Mint 1961 Gibson ES-335 TD in Cherry finish and all original. The guitar looks incredible, even cleaner than a new “VOS” Custom Shop guitar! It’s basically like it left the factory and comes from a main collection – the former owner started collecting guitars in the 70s and always sold a guitar when he found a better one…this is the best Cherry 335 he got since then. The color is unfaded and deep. The Centralab pots are dated 134.61.04, the original PAF humbuckers read 8.14K (N) and 7.58K(B). The neck has the typical slim early 60s profile, the original factory frets are still in great shape. It’s got the factory light-weight stop-tailpiece, orig. ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic “non-wire” bridge with nylon saddles. One of the last famous “Dot” neck guitars with “Mickey Mouse” ears, original PAF humbuckers and factory stoptail – a seriously outstanding guitar and a highlight for every collection! It comes in its original (great condition!) brown Lifton hardshell-case w/pink lining.
