1960 Gibson ES-330 D
Sunburst
Art.Nr. GI61ES330SBT
The second year of the Gibson ES-330 which was introduced in 1959 as successor model to the ES-225 with a lot more success because it followed the ES double cut design introduced in 1958. Typical for a 1960 model it has the slimmer neck profile, just like a 1960 Burst. That whole thing vibrates when you strum a chord – such a resonant and lively guitar! Those early 330s are special for sure. Still the dot markers of course. It is the by far most desired two pickup version and has plenty of wear, it has been played a lot. There are some changes: The pots and bridge are newer replacements, one tone knob is new, there are holes from a different pickguard and the tuners may be a bit older. Otherwise original and a just amazing playing and sounding gem! Comes in case.
