This is an exceptionally cool one – not only because it’s the rarest humbucker Les Paul version – the 1958 Les Paul Standard Goldtop but furthermore because we know it’s history for the last 55 years! We purchased this guitar from the second owner who bought it back in 1970 in Sweden from a local session player. This doesn’t happen often here in Europe since those guitars were unicorns back then and not many people had the chance to get one over the Atlantic! The guitar was played but remained in mostly original condition – the crumbled tuners have been replaced and the relatively weak material original jack late was kept in the case too. The guitar sounds really amazing, its a wonderful piece of history that became available on the market after 55 years! Comes incl. original case.
