1958 Gibson Les Paul Special - TV Yellow

One of the coolest guitars on the planet is the TV Yellow Les Paul Special. This is a super early example made in 1958 with the shaper body edges and 4-digit serial number. It also has the early control knob/switch layout that changed in early 1959. 95% of these guitars have the heel crack - this one as well - and well repaired. The neck pickup was located too close to the fingerboard to make it stable BUT the tone is superior to it's later sisters. The electronics and pickups are all original and untouched. Much more bottom and warmth here! Other than that it has a newer tailpiece, jackplate, switchtip, back plate screws and there have been Schallers installed once. The original tuners are back on. There is an additional strap-pin hole in the horn (which is actually really good when you wanna play it live it only really works this way!). The guitar has a fat beefy 1958 neck, looks simply gorgeous - play and sounds just as good. Strong P90s that really scream! Comes in later über-cool looking case.
