1956 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet - Silver Sparkle
Amazing clean 1956 Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet in Silver Sparkle finish. Besides a neck reset which is almost normal for old Gretsches, it's all original and the finish is still super bright, almost like it left the factory. Most of the Silver Sparkle models turned yellow caused by the yellowed clear lacquer but this one has spent most of it's life in the dark case. There are 2 missing backplate screws which is also common since the screw holes are often half way in the cavity and they fall out easily. Great example of an early Silver Jet - great sounding guitar! Comes in it's original case.
