Lightweight 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty in great condition. It’s been played and if you plug it in you know why – it’s such a great sounding guitar. There once was a Bigsby installed but it originally was a stoptail version and a repro stoptail is now in place. Otherwise the guitar is all original. Great feeling neck and the typical thick tone you only get from a Custom from that period. One piece full mahogany body and neck with Ebony fretboard and those wonderful pickups. The AlNiCo staples pickup in the neck position has a big juice tone and the bridge pickup has been set high for a better matching output. Great guitar and even if it really went up in price it’s still not even close to what a 6 Goldtop is going for these days… Comes incl. original case.
