1955 Gibson Les Paul Custom Conversion - Ebony
That's a great one: super nice 1955 Les Paul Custom that has been converted to late 50s specs with three humbuckers. The guitar has been converted in the 80s. The pickups are old 57 Classics, the pots have been changed (the middle pickup can be switched on and of with the bridge tone push/pull pot). The bridge is a late 60s patent No. ABR and the switch pokerchip is also newer - everything else is original. The neck is a full round 55 profile with the typical rolled fingerboard edges, the frets are big jumbos - it plays like butter! The middle pickup is set relatively low and we Les Paul lovers we can confirm it doesn't disturb you while playing at all! Great chance to get a late 50s spec Custom for 70% less - with original lacquer, no repairs and big fat tone! The guitar sounds typcial Custom-like with the right amount of clarity and punch - only real 50s Les Pauls sound like that. Comes incl. hardcase.
