This is a great opportunity to get a super early Stratocaster for almost 50% of the price. This guitar is a 1954/1955 model with 1954 body date and electronics and January 1955 neck. The body and neck have been oversprayed with clear coat, the middle pickup has been rewound and the tremolo appears to be an aged replacement. The pickguard also is non original. You'll get a wonderful 1954 ash body with the original finish under the clear coat, the bakelite parts, original center pocket tweed case...and an amazing sounding guitar!
