1952 Gibson Les Paul Allgold
Super cool 1952 Gibson Les Paul Allgold all original and in good condition. First year for the Les Paul model, still without serial number and with the early Trapeze bridge/-tailpiece combination. There is a great working aftermarket tailpiece installed which turns the usually unplayable original construction into a great playing guitar with great string action! The original tailpiece comes in the case. The Allgold models usually have the color worn off on the back of the neck so the neck of this guitar is almost completely without paint. This makes it feel even more comfortable just like a perfect glove you never want to take off. It's a great, big neckshape ... not too chunky but still the kind of neck you are looking for on a vintage Les Paul. The two P-90 "soap-bars" have well balanced outputs of N=8,92K and B=8,64K and sound superb in that guitar. Great weight with only 4,08kg! There is a crack in the top above the electronic cavity but it doesn't affect playability and is absolutely stable. Comes in its original Gibson brown hardshell case with pink lining.
