1959 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail - Sunburst

Lightweight 1959 Maple neck Hardtail Strat in great condition. The guitar has a replacement logo and headstock overspray and the knobs and pickguard are also a later repros. Otherwise it's original - the pots are CTS pots which we seen on other 58/59 Fender guitars and are dated 139.8.18 (18th week of 1958). The body date is 6/59 and the neck date is missing - which is correct for a guitar from mid 59 til early 60. It's got some honest play wear and has that typical round but not too big 59 neck profile which only was available from mid 58 until the slab rosewood boards appeared in mid 59. It's lightweight with only 3,12 and the original black bottom pickups measure 5,82K(B), 5,66K(M), 5,88K(N). Super resonant Strat with "that sound", twangy and responsive... just like a 50s Hardtail Strat should sound. Comes incl. original tweed case with yellow interior.
