Fender Custom Shop’s Dale Wilson became the top Masterbuilder within the last years because his attention to detail and especially aging work reached a whole new level. His take on the 1969 Paisley Telecaster is no exception: he created a true Masterpiece. The guitar looks amazing and sounds just as good – really an exceptional guitar in every detail. The spec sheet has been changed through a Instagram conversation with Dale Wilson – there is some nice documentation included. The headstock was changed to a small mid 64/65 style headstock with transition logo and the neck shape to Oval C (to match the SRV tribute), hand wound 1969 Strat pickups, 7,25 – 9.5″ compound radius… factory 5-way switch. The finish is actually a pink paisley base covered with a Gold Burst finish. All paperwork is included.
