1964 Gibson Firebird V - Sunburst
Another nice 1964 Gibson Firebird V - second year of production. This guitar shows some play wear, some dings and dongs and weather checking but overall it's clean. The pickguard has two broken edges, which is typical for this time because the material shrinks. The Firebird V was the equivalent to the SG Standard of that time - the classic and most desired 2-pickup configuration with bound rosewood fretboard and the trapezoid inlays. It's lightweight with only 3,95kg, the two mini-humbuckers have great matched outputs of 6,25K(N) and 6,45K(B), the solder joints are untouched and the pots read 137.63.36 (36th week of 1963). Comes including it's original Firebird case with yellow plush. The case is missing the handle and has seen better days so we include an aftermarket case as well.
