1984 Hamer Phantom A5 - Candy Apple Red

Clean 1984 Hamer Phantom A5 in rare Candy Apple Red finish (Made in USA). The Hamer Phantom came to fame in the early eighties when Andy Summers (Police) used this model extensively, this specific guitar supposedly used to belong to Mick Box from the british band "Uriah Heep", but we have no proof for that. The odd PU-configuration allowes a wide variation of intersting sounds, the all mahogany set-neck construction guarantees lots of sustain! The guitar has only minor play-wear, no breaks or repairs, a locking-nut had been installed in the past, the filled little holes next to the trussrod-cover are barely visible. The frets are original and still in great shape, just as the electronics (active Bartolini pickups) and work fine. Comes in its original black Hamer hardshell case
