1979 Gibson ES-335 TD Stereo Sunburst - Super Rare!

Clean and super rare 1979 Gibson ES-335 Stereo in Sunburst finish in excellent condition. We bought this guitar from the original owner who bought it when it was new. In 1979 Gibson released two Limited Editions, the "CRS/Country Rock Stereo" and "CRR/Country Rock Regular" which are hot-rodded versions of the ES-335. This guitar is an even rarer version that shares some features of those limited runs but with a more traditional look. It's basically a regular ES-335 model but with a factory (!) stoptail and stereo outputs on the side of the body. It's actually one of the first ES-335 guitars with regular stoptail since 1965! One output can be operated as regular mono jack as well so there is no limitation at all. The guitar is very clean and only shows some belt buckle wear on the back - otherwise is shiny and clean. It's all original and the original frets show almost no wear at all. The medium size C-shaped neck is very comfortable to play. The two original Gibson "Super humbuckers" can be split by an additional coil-tab switch, which works pretty well with these pickups and make that ES-335 a very versatile instrument, with several additional sound variations. Comes in black Gibson hardshell case w/grey interior.
