1962 Gibson ES-335 TDC

Clean 1962 Gibson ES-335TD in Cherry finish and great condition. There was a Bigsby installed once and the holes on the top have been filled. It must have been for a short time since there are no discolorations or less faded areas visible. The stoptail bushings are factory equipped. The guitar had Grovers installed and now there are 70s Gibson Deluxe tuners mounted and it comes with a period correct Gibson wraptail - besides that it's all original. The two original PAFs read 8,68K (B) and 7,41K (N) and the pots are dated 134.61.48 (48th week of 1961). The color is the nice darker red from that period, not the "water melon" red you see on other 335s. The guitar is actually only a few serial numbers away from our friend JD Simo's 1962 "RED". The neck profile is a bit on the slimmer side but not as skinny as you can find it on other early 60s models. It's a beautiful guitar with woody tone and great weight of 3,7kg. Comes in aftermarket case.
