1957 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst

Clean 1957 Stratocaster in excellent condition. This guitar was owned by the legendary Andy Brauer Studio Rental in North Hollywood and was used by Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones while he recorded in the O'Henry Studios in Burbank. He signed the back of the headstock. The three original black bottom pickups are marked "1957 ABSR" on their back to make sure they'd stay in the guitar. There is also an Andy Brauer sticker on the back of the pickguard. The guitar is all original besides a pro refret with replaced nut and a thin old fingerboard overspray and some super minor things we need to mentioned - a replacement string retainer riser, two replacement tremolo springs and some replacement saddle screws - basically stuff you would need to change if you use the guitar for what it was build for. Everything else is original - the neck date is 10-57 and it has the typical 57 V-shape profile, the body date is 9/57 and the three pots are dated 304.7.23 (23th week of 1957). The guitar is in wonderful clean condition and sounds and plays amazing. Sound-wise it's right in line with the best 50s Strats we had in the shop for a long time. Together with it's background history it's a great investment and great addition to any collection! Comes including it's original bridge cover, hangtag, set of strings played by Ron Wood and the original case.
