1956 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet Black

Clean 1956 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet - Black in very good condition. This is one of quite a few examples that have officially been warranty re-necked around 1959 in the Gretsch factory so it has some typical later features such as "Neo Classic" thumbnail fingerboard inlays, the zero fret and neck dowel. It's an all original Gretsch 6128. This instrument has only little play-wear, especially on the back and no weatherchecking. The binding is still in great shape. The original electronic is untouched with original solderjoints, the original DeArmond PUs have strong output and sound amazing in that guitar! The C-shape neck feels really good as well. Original tuners, low action and great playability. Great weight with 3,53Kg ...real fun to play!!! Comes in original grey Gretsch hardshell case.
